Bonnie Tyler vs Air Supply!

Which is your favorite?

Both of those songs were written by Jim Steinman and they both went to number one. You can tell the similarities between the two. They both have an operatic and dramatic feel to them.

Jim Steinman also wrote I Would Do Anything For Love But I Won't Do That for Meatloaf, and It's All Coming Back To Me Now for Celine Dion.

You can tell! When I first heard those songs, I guessed it, and I was right!

Total Eclipse of the Heart was the one I liked and still do like best.

Tough pick, but I'd have to go with Total Eclipse of the Heart, which sounded like it was more from the heart (indeed, there are times you get the impression Bonnie Tyler's going to just lose it if she has to keep singing it for five more seconds). The remixed version that charted in the 90s wasn't half bad either, so that technically a 2-1 advantage, if you get my drift.
