I want to download a few New Order songs to my I-Pod. Which songs do you recommend?

"Blue Monday", "Bizarre Love Triangle" and "True Faith" are all great.
Also, go with the extended versions if possible.
"Blue Monday" is my favorite...It sounds like James Brown if he was doing electro-pop.
Sincerely,
John Kilduff

Oh man, New Order and their amazing band before Joy Division rank at the top of my favorite groups.
I'm not a casual fan, so I might rank some songs that didn't even make it onto the three or four greates hits packages. There are different versions though, some new versions of old songs appear on Substance, still their best collection IMO.
Starting from beginning to end I would get
Ceremony Dreams never end Everything's gone green Age of Consent Blue Monday Your Silent Face Temptation Leave Me Alone Love Vigilantes The perfect Kiss Elegia Subculture Paradise True Faith Round and Round Regret Here to Stay Crystal Round and Round

Blue Monday is my fave New Order song. I'm not usually a big song remake fan, but in 1998-99 a band called Orgy remade Blue Monday. It was one of the few song remakes I liked...

it's all about bizarre love traingle, (which was also remade). how's it coming along val? what New Order songs have you downloaded?

so val, i assume you are all up to date on your New Order.
i came across this live version of another great NO tune, Perfect Kiss..this morning. i've been watching all the clips from that concert on youtube and wow, i am dying to see them live. they're freaking great.
also, Ian Curtis' death anniversary is coming up this month.
and i also found that George Michael covered NO's True Faith and i am not digging the cover but nice of him to attempt such a wonderful song (the original).

Ian Curtis's 31st death anniversary is the same day as my 30th birthday.
