Picking up on a point that a few of you have brought up - what CD's have you burnt at home. Obviously this will not be your ultimate list but a list of what you are currently listening to - your current compilations.

A few years ago I made what I thought was then my ultimate list but it mostly focussed on pop music (with a few exceptions) and was a compilation that I made of the songs that I loved that I could think of at the time. I would love to know what you all have on your compilations (I know that there are HEAPS of songs I've missed).

CD1
Jump - Van Halen
Video Killed the Radio Star - The Buggles
The Sun Always Shines on TV - A-Ha
And We Danced - The Hooters
Love Isn't Always on Time - Toto
It's a Heartache - Bonnie Tyler
Bette Davis Eyes - Kim Carnes
Safety Dance - Men Without Hats
Jessie's Girl - Rick Springfield
Take on Me - A-Ha
Every Little Thing(she does is magic) - The Police
The Tide is High - Blondie
Club Tropicana - Wham
Hungry Like the Wolf - Duran Duran
Electric Dreams - ?
Only You - Yazoo (ONE OF MY ABSOLUTE FAVOURITES).
Fade to Grey - Visage
Vienna - Ultravox
London Calling - The Clash

CD 2
Walking on Sunshine - Katrina & the Waves
One Night in Bangkok - Murray Head
Maniac - Flashdance Soundtrack
Dancing in Heaven - Q-Feel (GJWHF soundtrack)
St Elmo's Fire (Man in motion) - John Parr
Don't you (forget about me) - Simple Minds
Let the Rivers Run - Carly Simon (Working Girl)
Crazy - Icehouse
Who can it be now? - Men at Work
You Win Again - The BeeGees
And She Was - Talking Heads
Blue Monday - New Order
If You Leave - Orchestral Manouveres in the Dark
We Belong - Pat Benetar
Stop Draggin' My Heart Around-Stevie Nicks & Tom Petty
Keep on Loving You - REO Speedwagon
Nothings Gonna Stop Us Now - Starship (Mannequin)
Voices Carry - Til Tuesday
Land of Make Believe - Buck's Fizz
Supertrouper - ABBA
Thank You for the Music - ABBA

I know that there are plenty more that I have forgotten. What are you listening to?

I need to create one of these. My wish list would be:

Waiting for a Star to Fall--Boy Meets Girl
Never Gonna Give You Up--Rick Astley
Pour Some Sugar On Me--Def Leppard
Invincible--Pat Benatar
Hands Off--Once Bitten Soundtrack

That would start me off, I am drawing a blank on anything else at the moment...

I've got almost 300 MP3s, with most of them coming from the 80s. Let me write a list and I'll cut-and-paste it here. Give me a few days...Your jaw will go slack.

Sincerely,

John Kilduff
