Why cant I find a decent YNGWIE GREATEST HITS??? I used to have some of his cassettes back in the 80s and decided that he MUST have a Greatest Hits Deal by now....and he does...but not all his best songs are on it so now I have to order a bunch of cds.

Yngwie Malmsteen is a GUITAR GOD who had a band in the 80's called Yngwie Malmsteens Rising Force.

He was sort of cute too. But I think he was like a diva who was difficult to work with.

I would gladly duet RUN JOEY RUN with YNGWIE!

YNGWIE
pronounceed "Ing-Vay"

For awhile he went by Yngwie J Malmsteen....you know, so we wouldnt get him mixed up with all those other guys named Yngwie.

Yngwie was also in a band called Steeler and in a band called alcatrazz. Alcatrazz was fronted by the very great but underrated lead vocalist Graham Bonnett. Alcatrazz also can boast to having Steve Vai in their lineup. Don't think Vai and Malmsteen were in the band at the same time though.

Steve vAI..ANOTHER GOOD ONE.

I pronounced itn "Ying-wee" too until someone clued me in that it was "Ing-vay". I had his pictures all over my room as a teen. (As I said: not a bad lookin man!)

I wonder what he's been up to.

Pssssssssssssst...Yngwie: Email me!

I remember back during the 80s about how everyone claimed Van Halen's "Eruption" was so hard to play. Yngwie played it with the guitar behind his back. Truly an underrated guitarist in my book...
