One of the most popular songs of the 80s and if I recall anywhere near correctly a pretty popular video as well.

"Let me hear your body talk...." Catchy tune and catchy lyrics too. This song is a must have in anyone's 80s collection. I am kind of surprised that of the 80s compilation cd's that I have seen that I don't see this one on here. Surprising, maybe has something to do with licensing rights!

I would love there to be a channel that showed 80s videos all of the time. I know that there are certain shows on VH1 that plays them for like an hour a time, but it just isn't enough.

I think that this song is probablly what made leg warmers popular!

Devolution here,

An OK song, a terrible video. I have this song on the Billboard Top Hits 1981 CD. If I recall correctly. I sang it as a kid, but it was a bit risque for your average 6 year old to be singing.

We are DEVO

By today's standards, the video seems harmless, but the "Physical" video itself was a little bit risque at the time, especially when you consider it was Olivia Newton-John and her wholesome image.

There was a slow-motion shot of her in the shower. And at the end, two weight-lifter guys were walking together hand-in-hand.

I remember reading that a few people were complaining about that video in the early 80's!

I think the song is total fluff and hasn't stood the test of time very well. I did like it enough in the 80's but something I don't care to hear now days.

I loved this song! I remember it was one of the on 45 records my friend in the 7th grade ever had, and it is because I gave it to her for a Xmas present. Her mom wouldn't ever let her buy records, and listen to music, I thought it was the saddest way to live, so I bought her this song, and Urgent-Foreigner, and I said if your mom has a problem with it, let me know. But, she let her keep them.

I always thought Olivia Newton-John was one of the cutiest women ever. I also loved the song "Make a Move on Me."

I went to see her on the Physical tour in like 1982 at the Oakland Coliseum. Pretty good show. I was used to wild rock shows so it was strange that people would be quiet in between songs when she was talking. She looked and sounded great.

She still looks good to this day. She is one of those fortunate people that doesn't show her age.
