So this was on one of the Encore channels yesterday. I DVRed it, for the simple Corey Haim fact. I can remember watching it when I was a teenager, and like the first one, I hated it. But I watched some of it last night and found myself liking it! I was also confused...would it help if I went back and watched part 1 again?

Pettyfan.. part 2 has little to do with part 1 .. and part 2 is a trainwreck in my opinion. I really think you should give the original "Dream A Little Dream" another chance. It is a movie that seems to get better as you get older.

Ronnie just destroyed my theory.. but I think you should both give the original another try. The beginning is a bit shaky, but then it develops into an entertaining flick. The adult characters are brilliant in it.

My opinion on #2 is that it is an awesome bad movie. So if you often enjoy bad movies and maybe sometimes prefer them (as I do), then DALD2 is good to go. Lots of hilarious stuff to entertain throughout.

SA.. the sooo bad it's goood equation.. I can see that if I caught this movie in the right mood. It was just kinda disappointing for me.. even though I enjoy Robyn Lively .. I so prefer Meredith Salenger!!

Yeah, Val, I'm with you - I mean there's no contest between the first and the second. The first is one of my favorites. But this one is good, if as you say, you're in the right mood.

Thanks! Cindymancini, you're right--we do need a "like" button here lol. I watched part of DALD part 1 awhile back...I guess I do need to finish watching it. And I do like "so bad they're good" movies so I'll have to finish watching part 2. [Smile]

I haven't seen the second one, I've only seen the first! However, the first one was amazing, so I'll give the second one a chance. Plus, the Two Corey's are in it, and I love them.
