Does it get much better for cheesy early 90s movies? Nope! Of course this is definitely an 80s hangover movie, so that helps.

First off, Ami Dolenz plays Jeannie and is an angel in this movie (no she's not, she's a genie! [Wink] ). When Scotty wishes that Jeannie can be seen, to make Dana jealous, and she shows up in that bikini... I fell in love right then and there. Even though I like this movie, I secretly wish this was 90 minutes of following Ami Dolenz around instead.

The story is sweet and there's a lot of screwball goofiness going on on the sidelines. I appreciate that this movie doesn't take itself too seriously, it makes it so much more enjoyable.

There's a song by Bruno, called Flying Free, and it is excellent, but of course is impossible to find.

So which is your favorite Miss International Beauty Pageant contestant?

SA .. I realize Miracle Beach is a 90's movie, but it feels like an 80's hold over of sorts to me as well. Ami Dolenz was awesome in it. Always enjoyed her role as Fran in "Can't Buy Me Love" even though it was small, but very noticeable.

She was adorable in "Miracle Beach"

"As you wish Master."

Dean Cameron from "Summer School" and "Ski School" fame once said he really wasn't into this flick, but now he says he realizes how much people enjoyed the movie.

Oh and Pat Morita is great in it too!

that was so long ago, i don't even really remember any scenes in the movie. i would love to see it again.

good job, muffy...getting 50 bucks out of a dollar!

i refuse to spend that kind of money, myself! i probably would have done that 5 years ago, but not now. [Smile]

Dean Cameron's taste in women seems a lot better than his taste in shirts!

I like the sound of this one,the beautiful Ami dolenz along with dean cameron and Mr miyagi himself (pat Morita) in a 90s movie with an 80s feel, you can sign me up!

This seems more or less impossible to find,I just looked for it on amazon UK,nothing there, then ebay nothing there either.

Can't even find a vhs,
This does seem like an obscure little movie!

Warrior, you should definitely check it out. Dolenz sports a bikini. Not a great movie by any means but the 80s feel makes it a must. I wasnt aware it was so hard to find. And i been hunting and sellimg rare videos for awhile. Luckily I already owned a copy on Vhs.

This beach movie with a difference starring Ami Dolenz as a genie and Dean Cameron as a down on his luck beach bum was admittedly very silly but so much fun!

I really enjoyed this one overall actually it has a good smattering of laughs throughout with no shortage of T&A and the cast which includes Dean Cameron,Alexis Arquette,Martin Mull,Pat Morita etc were all really great fun to watch plus Ami Dolenz looks and acts adorable here!

A blind buy for me this Blu Ray and it was a bit more expensive than I normally like to pay so it was a bit of a relief that it turned out as positively as what it did in the end!

Great fun and like everyone mentions it's definitely got an 80s feel to it all!
