Man, I'm floored. I never heard that Crabby Appleton song in my life, let alone the group. We used to have this TV commercial for buying 60's-70's music, the sligan was Is that Freedom Rock? Well turn it up man! I immediately though of that tag when I was was hearing it.

I still got to go with the Rasberries song though, such 70's power pop confection. Believe it or not, as much as I like the Raspberries, I still think Big Star were the greatest group to have done that kind of music in the 70's. Too bad nobody bought their records.

I love the Raspberries song....that was one of my parents favorite songs...my mom had it on a 45 record and use to play it all the time.

I never heard that other song either.

I've looked down on the 70's for the longest time, but lately I am getting into some of the more rock 70's stuff like Raspberries and Cheap Trick. Any other bands like this should look out for?
