Just a few more days until the release of the DVD box set of Land Of The Lost season 1. I can't wait. This was a childhood favorite. I loved the Sleestacks. And Chaka the Pakuni boy. Anyone else looking forward to this release?

We have talked about this before and "Land Of The Lost" was my favorite Saturday morning show as a kid. It was right up there with "Scooby Doo" & "Hong Kong Phooey". This probably won't sound right after what Isis just said, but I always had a "crush" on Holly as a kid watching this show. [Cool]

I bought mine at Best Buy on tuesday as soon as they opened the door. It was $27. I thought that was a pretty good price since it's hard to find a box set around these days for under $50.
I've been watching one episode a day trying to make it last. THe animated menus and extra interviews are awesome. I can't wait for the next season.

Wow..Bigfoot thanks for letting me know about "Land Of The lost" on DVD.

I bought it and I have watch the Holly & Will interview immeditately. I thought Holly looked pretty good, I had seen other pics that weren't so kind to her in the past. Will was funny, but had lost some of his looks, but you could tell it was him.

Saturday Morning I watched the first two episodes and I hope to continue doing that every Saturday for awhile. I was gonna do just one episode, but one wasn't enough. I been missing this show since I was a kid...last week I think.

I just want to say if you were a fan of this show...The DVD will not disappoint! [Cool]

Hey Bigfoot, I bought it at Best Buy too, the sales guy said I "had great taste"! Don't I know it!! [Cool] [Wink] [Cool]

I found the interview too. They were funny. Kathy Coleman, is so hyper and I loved when she licked Wesley's nose, they looked like they were having a blast re living it, and talking to each other. It is nice to see them so comfortable with each other, and reminiscing about what a great time they had.

I remember Cha-Ka scared me, but Philip Paley was looking all right in the quiz they did, I missed one- cause I said the dad's name was Marshall, when it was Rick- wasn't it, cause their last name was Marshall.

Cha-ka looked like a kid in my neighborhood.

I was afraid of the Sleestacks too. I mean geez...who wasn't....If I had to choose between running towards a sleestack or the boogeyman, I am not sure what I would do. I think I might just have to try using my bionics to jump over the sleestack, and run away with the "boogie man."

How cool. I love this forum. I can't tell you how many people give me a blank look when I ask them if they remember LAND OF THE LOST.

I watched some LOTL on TVLAND a few months back for the first time in decades. What a trip. The "over-acting" is as endearing as the blue-screen special effects.

I remember my mom had the hots for Wesley Eure AND Michael Landon back then..
