I just saw the new freaky friday (2003) and I personally enjoyed the original. I felt that the protrayal of both mother and daughter seemed to be far more realistic in the original than in the new version. It seemed to me that Jamie Lee's performance was a bit over the top. Like for example in her expressions of how teens act was way too whiny. I was a teen once and I don't think I was ever so whiny. Just the infection of her voice and the tones used made her seem more like a 5 year old than a 15 year old. I do admit that the original seemed a bit more zaney and less believable in some parts but that is what made it funny. I also liked better the role of the little brother in the original. He was much less of a character in the new one. I think the little brother helped define the character
Anna(bel) a bit more. I did think that Lindsay Lohan was pretty good in it though.

What do you guys think??? [Confused]
