Recently saw "The Presidio" on Blu. Excellent print, especially considering this is an older film.

I find this to be extremely underrated, and one of the better mysteries/thrillers from the '80's. The storyline was great, as were the action scenes:

Early on in the film, the night-time car chase through the hilly streets of S.F. was amazing; excellent.

The later foot-chase through Chinatown was also quite intense.

I was impressed by the way they tied everything together at the end - as with all great mysteries/thrillers, several unconnected parts made sense when all of the characters came together in the final battle scene at the bottling plant.

I was amused at the scene when the Mark Harmon character ingratiated himself with the female dispatcher at the Water bottling company in order to get info. from her; apparently he was (or at least pretended to be) a "Grateful Dead" fan & knew she was as well, due to all of the Dead posters on the wall - hilarious.

Also, being a huge fan of "Aliens" (1986), it was nice to see the actress Jennette Goldstein (who played the Colonial Marine Vasquez) in this film - she played the female MP who died early on.
