I started off last night with Unaccompanied Minors. Which was pretty much a crapfest apart from a few moments here and there that made me smile. 4/10

Yay! I've only seen the first one of those. Liked it [Smile]

I just watched Paul Blart: Mall Cop. It was enjoyable enough and he was just so loveable! 6/10

Love Blart Helen. Wanted to see the sequal but never got around to it. Was the first one Christmas related? I can't remember.

I did watch some of the Christmas Gift with john Denver. His daughter and him go to Colorado for his job to find some land to build condos, this for his boss. When he falls in love with the town he has second thoughts about it, he pushed back against his boss, after realizing what it will do to all the families there. Lots of snow in this one with some nice scenery.

How about those familiar mob holiday films Angels with Filthy Souls and Angels with Even Filthier Souls? ("Keep the change, ya filthy animal.")

In all seriousness, I might recommend Nicholas Cage's Trapped in Paradise with Jon Lovitz and Dana Carvey; while a bit uneven and not quite sure at times exactly what kind of film it wants to be, when it is good, it's pretty good indeed ("Alvin, if we're going in circles, I'm going to break your neck." "Hey, I just did what the map said: I made four lefts." "FOUR LEFTS IS A CIRCLE, YOU IDIOT!!!!")

Magic. Not the fake junk - the real kind. The stuff that David Copperfield uses.

Boooom! I love this movie and was totally going to post about it. Definitely a hot mess of a movie. I think I saw this in the theatre when it came out. I hadn't seen it since then and thought I really liked it. I then watched it with my wife a few years ago and felt disappointed. I watched it again the following year and really started to enjoy it. Now it's in the regular Christmas rotation! It's worth a shot...but you might need to watch it twice to appreciate it.

Trapped in Paradise actually has a few big laughs though it isn't great overall--which is surprising since it was written and directed by the guy who wrote Midnight Run, which is an underrated masterpiece. By far, the funniest scene in Trapped in Paradise is when John Lovitz is trying to BS the parole board and tells them that he "will fly high above his problems, like the mighty pterodactyl...AWK!!! AWK!!!" Lovitz, an underrated talent, never fails to make me laugh when he does the pterodactyl impression. LOL

"Santa, Santa, what's wrong with your beard?" "You see, Santa loved a woman who was unclean..." ROFLMAO Bad Santa is so very wrong, but so hilarious, one of the funniest movies I've seen in the past few years. Billy Bob Thornton was perfect in the part.
