So my friend and I have been wracking our brains for days trying to remember a movie. It has 2 british kids in it and a black stone. We think in the end their house blows up because of a microwave? The 2 kids get sucked into a fantasy world. I know this is not a lot to go off of, but any help would be greatly appreciated!

When I first read this post, I thought of Time Bandits. I assume that's it... with the fantasy world and microwave thing. But there was only 1 kid, traveling with a group of thieving dwarves through time.

Thanks for the back up .. since we both thought it was more than likely "Time Bandits", I'm hoping that is the answer. The microwave was a great clue to spark our suggestion.
