this is what I know about it... early eighties, horror spoof made in the USA. its about a writer who travels to Oregon to escape all the unwanted attention back home.
in the film are two brothers, one of them lives in a lighthouse and he keeps shaving off his eyebrows as he thinks he's possessed by the devil.
there is also an old cyclist who cycles past the writer in his car shouting 'your doomed' to him before he himself gets run over by a juggernaught!

i'm sure that's the horror spoof hysterical from 1983! i've seen it but remember little from it,though i can remember richard kiel who played jaws in the bond movies stars in it! hysterical trailer - http://youtu.be/3mKSfZk_YT8 .
