Ok, this one will sound really weird. It is a cartoon movie from the early 90's. There are these mermaid puppy looking things with heart shaped noses and fins for hands. These adorable little creatures blow bubbles from star shaped bubble wands and the bubbles come out as stars. There is a waterfall where they live and some Jabba the Hut type of villian that ate all of thier noodles or something like that. I have been trying to find out what it's called for months! PLEASE HELP!

I wasn't really watching many 'toons by the early 90's, so this has me stumped. I have to say though, from the description it sounds exactly like the kind of trippy nonsense that the Japanese usually make.

There's my advice; look to the east.

There was an 80's cartoon called the Snorks, sounds like they might be it. I saw them on the "I Love the 80's" show which claimed they were a rip off of the Smurfs.

I know it's not Snorks because I loved that show and I totally have a visual of what you described like I know it and it's gonna kill me....I'm wondering if it wasn't an episode of a cartoon or something? I'll get back on it [Smile]
