Just watched another John G. Avildsen movie For Keeps? aka Maybe Baby (1988)

Written by Denise DeClue and Tim Kazurinsky. They also did the screenplay for About Last Night... (1986)

For Keeps? was a nice drama with couple of good jokes.
Starring Molly Ringwald and Randall Batinkoff. Molly is very cute here.
Pauly Shore did his first movie role in this one. About 10 seconds screentime.

I owned this movie on VHS a long time ago..(it was just called "For Keeps" when I owned it.)

It's not a bad movie..but not even close to being one of Ringwald's best.

I rented it when it first came out on video and didnt think much of it. BUT...its popped up on TV a few times over the years and when it did I found msyelf watching it! So ...even though its not fabulous, its not terrible. Its very watchable.
