Did anyone ever see this film, it's got Bette Davis in as spooky old lady,an American Family moves into an old english country house and there's a spooky history to the village, and one one the girls from the past had disappeared. It's a great film used to scare the pants off my older brother. does anyone know where I can find a copy?

Yes, I've seen this movie, "Watcher In The Woods". It comes on the Disney Channel around Halloween, it plays all through October. Yeah, it's a great movie although I think it's from the 70's and not the 80's.

Thanks for that, I'll see if I can nab a copy, used to watch it loads as a kid. You should really check it out, it's great.
I guessed it was seventies, but knew someone on here would know where to find it, you're all so knowledgeable!

I've been on pre-halloween kick as well lately. It terrified me when I was young, but even with the dated special effects it's still pretty good.

I LOVE this movie....I just watched it a few months ago...it is scary for a Disney movie. The end is a little hard to take...but I love Lynn-Holly Johnson in this movie. I highly recommend it.
