For the lgest time my sister and I have been trying to figure out the name of a movie we used to watch when we were kids. I remember watching it in the late eighties but am not sure if that's when it was first released. The movie was about a group of kids, and a female teacher, who lived in th country and all attended a one room type school house. At some point the teacher and the kids get kidnapped and taken somewhere in the woods. I don't remember exactly how they escape but they end up in some type of cave and plan there final escape by swimming through some underwater tunnels located within the cave. As the teacher finds her way out, through the water caves, she comes back one by one for the kids and, if I remeber correctly, she gets lost once within the water cave and almost drowns. I think I remember them all finally escaping but encountering their kidnappers one more time and having to fight them off and maybe even kill them, but they eventually get away. Oh ya, in the beginning of the movie it shows one of the kids shooting a fox or coyote out in the country, by his house, before he goes to school. Just thought that little description might help. If anyone can figure out what this movie might be I would greatly apprecaite it more than you realize. I've been thinking about this movie for several years and haven't had any luck.....Pleas help. Thank you for any help or info you can give me
