Again, this was a movie I saw years ago. It was on AMC Friday night and I watched it through. It was really good. I didn't remember much about it, except for the Vietnam parts. I also didn't remember that it was his Vietnam buddy who kidnapped his son. There were humorous parts too, like the blue hand that just wouldn't die. And George Wendt (Norm from Cheers) did a good job, too.

It was a cool movie, I am glad I didn't see it when I was younger, becuase it might have freaked me out with that hand and all. I have yet to watch the House sequels, are they any good?

I have House on VHS and reading the reviews of it beforehand I thought I was in for a treat, unfortunately I didn't like it, it was fun to see the guy from Cheers in it but that was about it, pace vs action wan't enough to suck me in and enjoy it like most 80s horror movies and felt cheated a little by the reviews I'd read.
It hasn't inspired me enough to hunt down the sequals.
