Today flick: The Legend of Billie Jean. Okay, I absolutely loved this movie. I think I am the only person in the world that does not think that Christian Slater is good looking. Anyhoo, this is a film about a group of bullies who mess with the wrong girl's brother. She tries to make the number one bully's dad pay and he wants her to sleep with him and then he will give her money. She and a group of friends set off on a run from the police after her brother accidentally shoots the bad guys' dad. The Pat Benatar song Invincible totally rocks! What is your opinion on this flick from 1985?

I LOVE this movie! The Pat Benatar song, Helen Slaters haircut, I loved it all! This was totally a movie for girls. The lesson was don't mess with a female! [Smile] Oh I love this movie!

I saw an interview with Christian Slater and he said he had a crush on Helen Slater while making this movie. He said he was really young and thought it would be perfect because when they got married she wouldn't even have to change her last name. [Big Grin]

Devolution here,

Fair is Fair, what a great movie, if you catch it on HBO it is more than worth taping. I love it, and Invincible rocks.

This movie was on HDMovies today. Wow, Helen Slater was awesome as the rebel with such a cool look about her. My question is what happened to her? She went for Totally Rad in "The Legend of Billie Jean" to Totally Boring in the rest of her movies from the 80's.
Some people love the movie "The Secret of My Succe$s", but she is actually the reason it is not one of my favorites. She tried to act to stuffy and grown up for her age.

Billie Jean might be my fav role for crazy eyes Keith Gordon other than "Christine" which his 'hey psycho' look worked best in.
