My son is watching this James Bond movie right now...and I just watched a scene, where Sean Connery and Kim Basinger went over the edge of this castle on a cliff, on the back of a horse, and fell in to the ocean....holy cow was that an awful scene, it made me queasey in the stomach.

Have you ever watched a scene where you thought uuugggh.....

the scene in Fire with Fire when they jump off the cliff, and the scene in First Blood where he falls/jumps off the side of that mountain and lands in the trees...every time I see that...it just makes me feel icky.

Not eighties, but the first one I thought about, and just thinking about it makes me shiver... was the 'biting over the edge of the sidewalk' - scene in American History X.

To bring it back to the 80s ( [Wink] [Razz] ), although it looked cool, it was pretty disgusting seeing people get their faces blown off with shotguns in "To Live And Die In L.A".

Sincerely,

John Kilduff

Yuck...I never saw that movie (to Live and Die in LA)...but I love that song by Wang Chung, I have it in my jukebox. I wouldn't have liked that scene at all either.
