I really really need to know the name of this film before I go crazy. Its a film that is based over xmas, the place where it is set is a small town and is covered in snow. There is a family which i think is looked over by an angel (who looks like an ordinary man). The kid in the family gets a snowglobe off the angel and it smashes in the film but the angel magically fixes it and I'm sure that the dad gets shot by robbers in the store where he works or knocked over and almost dies until the angel helps him. Please help noone else has a clue what i'm talking about and i'm starting to think I am crazy.

All I can think of (although I've never seen the movie) is "One Magic Christmas".

I remember the snowglobe and the angel (Henry Dean Stanton)but I don't remember the part about the dad getting shot. It's been over 10 years since I've seen it, though.

Thats the one you's are stars, now i've thought about it I think the dad gets shot in a bank but it turns out to be a dream. Wow its great to find that out, it was really annoying me
