Being on vacation is kind of weird, I have all this extra time which I am definetly not used to. Went to the Walmart today and noticed a bunch of movies I hadn't gotten around to knowing much about.

Wonder if some of you could reccomend the good from the bad.

The Blob
A Night in Heaven
The Pirate Movie
Return to Witch Mountain
The House by the Cemetary
The Watcher of the Woods
Ice Castles

Ice Castles is a 70's movie, I think Return to Witch Mountain too.

I've seen Ice Castles, Return to Witch Mountain and The Watcher in the Woods.

Ice Castles if you like crying. It's sad but I liked it.
Return to Witch Mountain is a Disney Movie. It's a cool movie.
The Watcher in the Woods is also a Disney movie, but it's a suspense movie w/Lynn-Holly Johnson (Ice Castles). I Liked it.

Riptide, is Wal-Mart really selling A Night In Heaven and Escape to Witch Mountain? I'm going to have to go check it out tomorrow. I was going to buy A Night in Heaven today from Amazon but I held off...Please let me know.

I think it's a pretty good movie. It's more of a cheesey drama so if you're into that, I'd say go for it. Ice Castles I've only seen once and it was decent. It's very 70's. Maybe I'll revisit it myself. [Razz]

OMG...the Pirate Movie...I remember my cousin LOVED that movie...I haven't seen it for ever...what I remember was it was a musical...and I didn't like it at first...but it grew on me.

I LOVE Ice Castles.

Escape to Witch Mountain...is awesome!

My favorite on your list is The Watcher in the Woods...that is one excellent movie...both it and Ice Castles have Lynn Holly Johnson in them and I always thought she was really cute.

Cindy, I saw a Night in Heaven in a canadian walmarrt pretty cheap, so I guess you guys must have them too. I also saw Moving Violations which just about reeled me over. Didn't know it came out! There was another movie I saw there I forgot to list, it's the House by the Cemetary. But thanks for the advice. I see Ice Pirates is on DVD now too.

I have the Pirate movie. Most people I know think it blows big time but like Isis said...it grows on you. My favorite from your list is Escape To Witch Mountain. I also saw Flight Of The Navigator at Wal Mart.
Now if they would just release Howard The Duck on DVD!!!!!
