Has anyone seen this awesome film with Brooke Shields in it? Often plugged as 'Tom Cruises debut' - this film is just sooo dramatic and emotive (in my opinion)....the ending just takes my breath away..(I wont spoil it here for those who have not seen it) [Wink]

Hey Mrs Larusso,

I've seen Endless Love. Isis was nice enough to let me borrow it. It's a pretty decent movie. I'm just shocked that it's not out on DVD yet. Considering the cast and all the familiar names, you'd think someone would want to release it and cash in a bit. I hope it makes it to DVD cause I'd probably buy it.

It is out on DVD over here in the UK (a universal release). It came out on DVD here in november or december last year. If you check the prices for it on ebay, you'll see they have plummetted now! I mean they were going for something stupid like £40 for an import DVD of it...but since the UK release, the prices are OK now. Try it there - its just an amazing film IMO.

I just could not wait until it came out on DVD! For years I had to watch a crackly version that I taped of the telly! (extra crackly at the 'joining David on the stairs' bit that I used to rewind and watch back constantly)

Mrs Larusso, I totally remember the intensity of young love. This movie captures how a teenager can get so emotionally rapped up in a first love. Her dad making the love forbidden only fueled the eventually house fire. Does anyone one else remember that out of control feeling you got as a teenager in love? So awesome, but yet so depressing when the romance came to a crashing halt...but the memories of your endless love still remain. [Wink]
