I was just wondering which movie that you thought should be remade with whom and why?

I don't really have anything imparticular in mind.

Sometimes it is weird stuff that wasn't even very popular that gets remade that becomes really popular,

For example maybe like La Caux Au Faux (SP?)--The BirdCage, The Grudge--remade from a Japanaese film.

Is there any particular 80s film that you think should get remade and why?

Okay I just thought of one.

How about Stand by Me with Girls. It could be set actually in the 80s with stars such as Hallie Kate Eisenburg, Dakota Fanning, that AnnaSophia--Winn Dixie, and oh I can't think of another one right off.

I think it would be interesting to get some of the top young stars to play something close to the storyline of Stand by Me. I would go and see it.

I'll like to see a Remake of.... Night Of The Comet

especially with today's Technology. I'll turn up the Action & Violence and focus more on the Mutant Zombies that have been tainted by the Comet [Cool]

'the wizard' except they gotta use gamecubes in the video game armaggeddon competition at the end. They could even have small cameos from original stars christian slater and fred savage. It still has to be a road movie...but with games!

Oh absolutely Night of the Comet I didn't even think of that one. They still need to keep it small scale to have the same effect. Don't go overboard to lose that 80s effect. God they would definately have to use the same music. Great one CT!

It's usually been my thought process that flops should be remade rather than classics. The idea is to use the second chance to make them better. While there've been plenty of films in the 90s and 00s that qualify under this banner, the best one I can think of from the 80s would be The Man with Two Brains, not inasmuch as it was bad, which it definitely wasn't, but to try and present it in a way that would be a bit more attractive to the average audience.
