since we are approaching halloween soon...

both films were great fun [Razz] anyone have a favorite story or stories from either 1 or 2?

part 1 ('82)

FATHER'S DAY
THE LONESOME DEATH OF JORDY VERRILL
SOMETHING TO TIDE YOU OVER
THE CRATE
THEY'RE CREEPING UP ON YOU

isis, i know you hate the last story [Razz]

part 2 ('87)

OLD CHIEF WOODENHEAD
THE RAFT
THE HITCHHIKER

the hitchhiker was hilarious!

"thanks for the ride lady!!!!"

Haha! The Hitchhiker is my favorite! Whenever I give my sister a ride anywhere she always says "Thanks for the rie lady, thanks for the ride". hahahah!

Anyway, Creepshow 1 is awesome! I like 2 also but the Chief Woodenhead always kinda freaked me out. My grandparents live next to an Indian reservation in Northern Wisconsin. There's a giant wooden Native American statue right outside the property. It's been creeping me out ever since I saw that story.

Devolution here,

Speaking of useless knowledge.

The raft was great, so was the hitchhiker.

The first one had some great stories, The crate was soo long, but soo good.

I love these two movies. The Hitchiker is the best. Theres nothing like driving on the back roads and picturing someone like that trying to get a ride.

A pair of really great movies which surprised me there wasnt a part 3. King has written 8 billion short stories, I'm sure some of which could be made into another sequel.

Instead of naming the stories I liked which would go on forever, I'll just say the Crate is the only one I didn't.

Hitchhiker is the best of the 3 movies, with the Danson/Neilson one a close second.

I never liked Cheers after I saw Ted Danson in that one. If I'm not mistaken, didn't Mr. King make a cameo in Creepshow 1? I don't wanna say too much for those that haven't seen it.

Ronnie- Hey lady, your right...Creepshow definately gave me the Creeps. I could never remember the names of the different shows, but I hated the one with the bugs. Is Night of the Creeps too creepy for me too??

Devolution here,

Night of the Creeps rocks the house!!!
It is well worth watching, not a buggy movie more of (like Ronnie said) a sluggy movie.

It's funny too.

Yes Ali King actually had roles in both. As the dummy farmer in part 1 then as a truck driver who happens on the scene after the hitchhiker is killed. Always loved his half drunk line reading of: "Hey, buddy, what the **** happened??!"
