I decided to go a little mad with my paycheck:

Vacation, Uncut Leatherface III, Misery SE, Groundhog Day SE, and I'm set for Christmas: SE's of Silent Night Deadly Night, Christmas Vacation, and A Christmas Story. And finally picked up Superman SE. Gonna be a fun holiday season.

Cost me a little, but all in the name of the 80s! [Smile]

McFly- I lived Ground Hog Day in real life, I grew up in Punxsutawney! Me and Phil were real tight! Bill Murray even came to Punxsutawney for the actual Groundhog Day- Feb. 2nd. They did not film the movie there, but they did find a town that recreated it really well. My friend I went to high school with, he and his brother actually worked on stuff for movie, and his brother was a stand-in on the set. They even used names of real streets, the Bed N Breakfast on Cherry Street-that was the street my Grandpa lived on. I actually really liked the movie.I have it, of course. My friend Eddie's 2 friends, play the rednecks that go riding down the traintracks with Phil. It was fun growing up there. We would get foreign exchange students every year, that came just for Ground Hog day. When I was a senior, my exchange student was from Norway. That was 1986, we all went to Gobbler's Knob. It was a great time to be young. We all went to the movies and saw Youngblood with Rob Lowe. And I remember my exchange student teaching my brother how to play the song: Take on Me, by A-ha on the piano.

I would really love to get "Making Mr. Right" on DVD I know it is available but I haven't been able to find it around where I live. I guess I will have to order it. I recently bought Sleeping with the Enemy, Kindergarten Cop, and Valley Girl.
