I am hoping someone might be able to help me. I am trying to track down the title of a movie from the early to mid 80's. I don't know any of the actors names or the director.

The film was basically about a football team who is unable to win anything games. The coach decides to have the players take dance lessons in a dance studio, which in turns helps the team begin winning games. That's all I can say about this flic.

If there is anyone who recalls such a flic, I would greatly appreciate some help on this one. Thanks [Smile]

I know the film! Australian if I'm not mistaken but aaaarrgggghhhh I can't remember or find the name.

This one won't get away from me, I will find the name... [Smile]

This is what I can remember of the film, a ballet teacher moves to a new town with her son to teach ballet, sees that the football team has never won a game and proposes she teach them ballet to make them fitter/quicker, demonstrating this by getting her son (who she teaches ballet) to jump high up into the air. IMDB plot searching under assumed keywords 'school' 'teacher' 'ballet' 'dance' 'rugby' 'football' hasn't turned up anything [Frown]

The title of the movie you are after is: Warming Up. It features the South Melbourne football club (now the mighty Sydney Swans) and Henry Szeps as the poor local copper and team coach. It was directed by Bruce Best, and if anyone comes across a copy would you PLEASE let me know!!!?????
