While reading through the "Crossroads" trivia on the fast-rewind SmartMenu, I became confused on the information about Arlen Roth and his involvement with the film. It says that he played most of Macchio's guitar parts and had some involvement with directing the end. If so, why was his name never mentioned in the credits or in any other stuff. Being a Crossroads fanatic, I found the info Mr. Roth gave a bit odd. I've talked to many other Crossroads fanatics about this film alot and they have never heard about Arlen Roth being part of the film. [Confused]

Yea, that's who I always thought played the guitar parts, along with the rest of the world. But in the Fast-Rewind trivia section for Crossroads, it shows a letter sent in by guitarist, Arlen Roth. For some reason he says he wrote or performed or did something for the music in the soundtrack. I have never heard of his involvement with the film until I read that.
