Hi, I know a few members of this board were lucky enough to aquire certain pieces (gi's/shirts/etc.) from the Karate Kid movies (such as Johnny's and Dutch's gi's) and I would like to request some hi resolution scans of those pieces.
Particularly areas of interest would be patches, logos, text or tags on the clothes,etc. Basically, anything that you wouldn't have found on the article of clothing before the wardrobe dept. got thier hands on them.
The obvious use for this is two-fold.
First, the less fortunate who were unable to obtain Johnny's/Dutch's/Franks gi can create one of their own.
Second, these are classic pieces and over time will fade, or get sold to someone who has no interest in sharing these unique treasures with the rest of the world. I believe this would be a good time to make a few digital copies for generations to come.
Also, if you know of anyone who might have a remnant from any of these movies, please inform them about this post, or see if they would like to contribue.
