Who else remembers this show? It was a high tech Dungeons & Dragons show that really was ahead of it's time.
It involved a team of 4 player's who had to guide the fourth member through various lands and buildings. It used state of the art blue screen chroma key and created virtual world's. It really was an excellent show, but visually and story and character wise.

Here's is the first episode of series one which was repeated again on the television channel 'Challenge' in the U.K. years later.

It had the great tag line of:
"Welcome Watchers Of Illusion To The Castle Of Confusion"

One of those shows you'd run home from school to watch.

Knightmare: 25th Anniversary Documentary

There are a series of books based on the show.

Yeah, it was an absolutely masterful piece of television, and I think that for any age group. The writing, the effects, the costumes, the acting was a bit hammy, but everything thing else. It was an enthralling show. It change a lot over the years but with each series being different, maybe not from it's predecessor but if you jump forward a couple of series you can see big changes. There were some interesting additions and changes as time went on. Lord Fear being a big one.

That looks very cool. I don't think it was ever shown in the US.
