Happy Easter fellow Rewinders. If not a religious holiday for you, hoping you're at least able to spend time with family....or quality alone time if that's the case. Some of you may have to work?...may you use that money for something fun! Hey...trying to find a nice angle for every predicament!

Mine and my wife's family are both local, so, off to have the first of two turkey dinners today!! I'll each 1/2 portions at each place!

Already snuck in a movie this morning...The Secret Of My Success...not too bad at all! Cheers!

Happy Easter kev and everyone. We were at the bonfire yesterday (burning the witches, yeah [Wink] ).
Then came the news that someone had burned a church in the nearest town, 20 km from our little village. The police got the fella who did it, not too bright eh?
Well, they are already saying that they will build a new one and had 6 million euro insurance. But it was kinda shocking.

Sorry to hear that aTomiK...the world is getting crazier and crazier. Hard to see stuff like this happen in your own neighborhood.

warrior...they were more like 3/4 portions...so...a meal and a half! Two turkey dinners with all the trimmings...stuffed and ready for an early bedtime. My oldest boy was up at 4:30AM waiting for the Easter Bunny...though had to wait for his little brother til' 7AM....I'm tired and done like dinner at 6:30PM...but gonna try to sneek one more movie in after the kids are in bed....

We had a nice Easter. Ham, home made scalloped potatoes, Cole slaw and a lemon blueberry layer cake, which was a first try at it for me. The cake (and everything else) turned out good. I am not really fond of baking so much; I prefer to cook. I used to bake a lot when I was a teenager. I made our Chistmas cookies, and always had something for the other holidays. I think it's the mess that I make that turns me off now.😋

Happy Belated Easter, we were really busy, but I do believe in the Easter Bunny, so I hope he found you all and gave you lots of jelly beans and peanut butter eggs. I miss all the cute Easter specials that use to be on TV like The Easter Bunny is Coming to Town, and Here Comes Peter Cottontail. I love the movie "Easter Parade".
