I found my old Cub uniform in storage a few years ago. God I wish I could fit into that again! Trying to remember the Cub chant, it went something like "dib dib, dob, dob, dob ro something. Went on some camping trips too, gosh good times. I never made it to scouts for some reason, I think I was too involved in minor hockey at the time. Anyone else was in these groups?

I was in the Brownies and The Girl Scouts. When I was in the 6th grade I had the most badges of anyone in our group. I remember I worked all year to get them all. I loved Girl Scouts. We went to scout camp one summer...it was like the movie Little Darlings. You took the bus there. You did nature study and decoupage, and made beef stew over a campfire and sang songs. It was so much fun. I loved it. I have my son's cub scout uniform hanging on the wall in his room. His room is decorated like a log cabin, with a whole wildneress theme, and I have pine trees everywhere, and I thought the uniform looked cute with everything. We went to the flea markets over the summer and found cool stuff. Like we got a big owl -that is plastic-it's so cool- and we got a statue of an Indian.
I love being outside in the woods.

I have cabin fever so bad. I can't wait until spring.

If you could dig out some old photos, do it. I am going to have to ask my mom, because sadly a bunch of precious photos were destroyed by fire in 2004.
