OMG Ronnie you must watch some of the Bond movies. I'd maybe start with Casino Royale and go backwards (not counting the current one which isn't on DVD yet). Not a big Pierce Brosnan Bond fan here so I'd recommend:

1) Goldfinger
2) License to Kill
3) Thunderball
4) Moonraker
5) The Living Daylights
6) License to Kill

Everyone has their likes and dislikes as far as the Bond franchise goes, but those are my favorite ones.

P.S. Thanks everyone for the compliments and Brooke is ok with it. Kev if that's your wife I'm movin to Canada tomorrow lol......

I only really like the Roger Moore Bond films. The Brosnan ones were okay, but the Sean Connery ones were boring.

I've been to Moscow several times on business and I have to say - there is an unbelievable amount of incredibly beautiful women! You hardly see any fat women, and just standing on an escalator going down to the subway you can count at least 10 gorgeous women on the other side.
And just as pretty as the girls are, the men are the ugliest bunch of males I have ever seen im my life. [Mad]

Moore & Dalton did the best Bond movies.
Connery films are ok.

Like MotleyRulz, i don´t really like the Brosnan era.

I've got to disagree!!
For me, Sean Connery is James Bond and my top 3 favourites are all on his watch: From Russia With Love, Goldfinger and Dr. No!!

I'd go with favourite Bond:
1:Sean Connery
2:Roger Moore
3:Daniel Craig
4:Pierce Brosnan
5:Timothy Dalton
6:George Lazenby

Ronnie,

I can't believe you have never seen a Bond film! Seeing how this is an 80s site I think you should start with Bond movies from the 80s. Take a look at these:

Roger Moore:
For Your Eyes Only 1981
Octopussy 1983
A View to a Kill 1985

Timothy Dalton:
The Living Daylights 1987
Licence to Kill 1989

Here's a list of all 22 Bond Films:

1 Dr. No 1962 Sean Connery
2 From Russia with Love 1963 Sean Connery
3 Goldfinger 1964 Sean Connery
4 Thunderball 1965 Sean Connery
5 You Only Live Twice 1967 Sean Connery

6 On Her Majesty's Secret Service 1969 George Lazenby

7 Diamonds Are Forever 1971 Sean Connery

8 Live and Let Die 1973 Roger Moore
9 The Man with the Golden Gun 1974 Roger Moore
10 The Spy Who Loved Me 1977 Roger Moore
11 Moonraker 1979 Roger Moore
12 For Your Eyes Only 1981 Roger Moore
13 Octopussy 1983 Roger Moore
14 A View to a Kill 1985 Roger Moore

15 The Living Daylights 1987 Timothy Dalton
16 Licence to Kill 1989 Timothy Dalton

17 GoldenEye 1995 Pierce Brosnan
18 Tomorrow Never Dies 1997 Pierce Brosnan
19 The World Is Not Enough 1999 Pierce Brosnan
20 Die Another Day 2002 Pierce Brosnan

21 Casino Royale 2006 Daniel Craig
22 Quantum of Solace 2008 Daniel Craig

this newest bond is pretty close to how ian fleming wrote about him.

bond wasn't a spy or some suave ladies man. he was a cold blooded killer. the movies got farther away from that as they went on, so i was happy to see daniel craig bringing back the cold bloodedness that bond actually was.

I really dont like those james Bond movies. There- I've said it! I was sort of dishonest about it when i met my hubsnad (he loves them) but after he made me sit throuigh GOLDENEYE I broke down and told him I dont like them!

And i hate "the new guy". Theres just something about his looks that totally rubs me the wrong way.
