As a couple of you know I had back surgery a couple weeks ago and that I will be off from work for six to twelve weeks.

With all my free time at hand I asked somebody if there was a cool TV series that I could watch while I was laid up. They said Arrested Development was pretty good. I vaguely remembered the name while it was on and I know for a fact that I never saw an episode. But I figured why not give it a chance so I went to the store and found the first season on DVD.

Finally last night I got around to watching the extended pilot episode along with the first two episodes. What a great reccommendation. The show is absolutely brilliantly written and funny as hell. But then I've always been a sucker for shows that center around dysfunctional families. If the rest of the episodes continue like the first few I will soon be buying seasons 2 and 3 as well.

So far my favourite characters are Buster and George Michael.

Anybody else a fan of this show?

I never watched it while I was on, cause it conflicted with someting else I watched. I'll have to check it out sometime.

Have seen approx. 15 episodes now. Still a very funny show and the guest stars are a virtual who's who

Henry Winkler
Liza Minelli
Carl Weathers
Heather Graham

Plus the narrator is Ron Howard

Highly reccommend this show to those who have never seen it before.

Start watching "Lost" from the beginning. Best show on television right now. Once you watch the pilot episode, your hooked.

One series that I bought on DVD (there are three seasons out, so far) is "Harvey Birdman".

I haven't seen the whole thing yet, 'cause I don't have enough time.

Anyone who remembers the classic Hanna-Barbera animated cartoon series will enjoy it! [Smile]
