Which network's lineup in which year would you rate as your favorite? My vote's always been ABC's 1988-89 ("Something's Happening II") lineup:

-8:00--Flintstones Kids (the weakest link, but still halfway decent, especially with Mel Blanc doing Captain Caveman again)

-8:30--The New Adventures of Winnie-the-Pooh (inventive and imaginative, it does Milne's spirit good (even if Milne hated being associated with his greatest creation at the end of his life); only Duck Tales was a better series in my book (which makes it surprising why this didn't land on the Disney Afternoon with the others from this time)

-9:30--The Real Ghostbusters (even though this was the first season of the infamous and greatly disliked Slimer rebrand, the episodes remained Grade A, with masterpieces like the role-reversing Flip Side, the scary Poultrygeist, and Standing Room Only with it's prolonged battle against Gozer-level fiend Mee-Krah.)

-10:30--Pup Named Scooby-Doo (the first time they tried experimenting and poking fun at the formula they'd built up for so long, and it helps keep it fresh. Throw in inventive ghosts like the Headless Skateboarder, Ice Demon, and Totem Pole Monster, great running gags with Red Herring and the triple system of offering Scooby the Scooby Snax leading to him downing gigantic portions of snax and witty inter-character dialogue, and it's no wonder this was Hanna-Barbera's last great show)

-11:00--Bugs Bunny and Tweety Show (this was the year they moved the show back to an hour and reinstated the "This Is It" opening sequence (admit it, you sang along with Bugs and Daffy when the curtain went up), thus making this ABC's best incarnation of the series for the 14 years they had it. They also held over the "Zooming Color Streaks" cartoon titles cards from before the makeover for this year that were almost as fun watching to form as the cartoons themselves (which was a shame when the next season they genericized every single title with Bugs and the gold filmstrip). And back then they didn't edit the cartoons as badly as they did in later years, so we got the most complete viewing experience that Standards and Practices would allow (still it was frustrating when you had a seen a cartoon unedited elswhere and see it's been hacked, as it was for me watching them remove the bulk of Bully for Bugs's ending so viewers couldn't see the bull get the glue and sandpaper stuck to its chest and light the fuse to the dynamite that blew him up before he hit the fence; unluckily they cut from the bull sliding up the greased ramp and instantly hitting the fence. I'm sure you each have your own personal peeves in this matter, but I'll save that for another topic)

Your favorite lineups?

1987-88

6:00 The Incredible Hulk (cartoon)

Excellent, albeit short-lived, cartoon series, replaced by an even shorter run of 'She-Hulk' and 'Spiderwoman', all three were well animated adaptations of the comic books.

6:20 Batman (1960s series)

Wham! Pow! Zowie!...and all that kind of thing, the cliff-hangers were too much

7: 00 Pole Position

Speed, talking cars, cool theme tune, what more could you ask for?

7:30 Maxie’s World

One for the ladies methinks.

8:00 Bionic Six

Family values...with cyborgs.

8:30 Defenders Of The Earth

Another cool theme tune, sons & daughters of famous superheroes.
