I'm going to see them October 5 in Detroit. Has anyone been to a Kraftwerk show or liked them in the past?

I saw them a few years back and they were outstanding! I was originally skeptical because of their age, but they really won me over. Just a special band.

Never seen them live but always been a huge fan. what a groundbreaking band.
The Model must have been the first song i heard back in early 80s.
Then we had The Man-Machine on tape but it was only after my brother bought Electric Café gatefold lp back in spring ´87 when we became big fans.
We bought the other albums and i also found the ´75 early works compilation lp Exceller 8. The Mix remix cd was a great success in summer ´91.

I´ve been thinking of revisiting all these great albums.

Kraftwerk for me starts in 75 with Autobahn. I remember I went out and bought rare at the time imports of the early stuff like Organisation and Ralf and Florian. It was really more like the experimental 70's kraut rock of Cluster and Harmonia. In fact I was taken aback when I heard flute solos! Just want to warn people not to pay tons of money on that stuff. I fully salute groups like Kraftwerk, Roxy music and David Bowie and Brian Eno for forging that future 80's style way before it's time.

This show was amazing! Kraftwerk puts on a great 3-D show! One of the best concerts I've ever been to. They're going back to Europe now, but if they come back, I recommend seeing them.
