What did you think of the root rockers out there in the 80's. The Springsteen influenced guys like John Mellencamp? Did you like it or was it too close to country?

I totally forgot about Henry Lee Summer, the intro sounds like JCM's Hurts so good.

I always liked Cougar/Mellencamp and still do today.
