Ok, so I am not really a huge bon jovi fan - although I am the first to admit that jon bon jovi and richie sambora are awfully nice. (Can you imagine rating a band on whether they were awfully nice at the height of their fame?). Anyway, I loved them at their Bad Medicine phase and 'Always' was the last song played at our formal(thats the same as the prom - at 6am 'Always' was the last song played) will always have an affection for them but my husband has always (no pun intended) loved their music, as have most of his friends and I think that there will be a lot of cranky people if they don't come down under. Why do so many groups not come to the land of Oz? Is it because we are too far south and thus get lumped in with phone throwing New Zealanders (Yes Russell Crowe is from New Zealand) or because we have too small a population? I used to be totally in love with peter buck from REM when I was young but by the time they got here they were all grey, married with kids and had lost all of their rock credibility! (But not to me!) So, why can't Bon Jovi come here?
