What songs from the 80's did you like at first but because of being overplayed is a song you don't care to hear much any more.

I can think of 3

1. Dancing in the dark--Bruce Springsteen
2. Old Time Rock n Roll--Bob Seger
3. Jump--Van Halen

I have to be in the exact right mood to like any of these 3 songs now days. MTV and the radio ruined these songs for me.

Devolution here,

These songs were killed at the bar.

Come on Eileen -Dexy's Midnight Runners
Scenes from an Italian Resturant - Billy Joel (70's)
You shook me all night long - AC/DC

I used to love all of them. Now it's get it off, before I off you.

Jump - Van Halen

This song makes me want to time travel to when Eddie wanted to incorporate synthesizers into the band and tell the band not to cave.

Also, any Cars and any April Wine song makes me turn the radio off in protest.

I'm changing my mind on "Dancing in the Dark", Springsteens "Born In The USA" is a more cringe worthy song.

*waits for backlash from all my fellow americans*
