I was watching VH-1 Classic and saw Taylor Dayne's "Tell it to my heart" video. It sure looks like it copied Madonna's "Lucky Star" video. Any videos that you can remember that looks like it copied another one?

I'm not sure about copied videos. But I guess you can make a comparison between Godley & Creme's "Cry" video with the latter part of Michael Jackson's "Black Or White" video.

But there are videos that are parodies of other videos.

(1.) David Lee Roth's "Just A Gigolo/Ain't Got Nobody" lampoons Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Want To Have Fun", Billy Idol's "Dancing With Myself", as well as Willie Nelson and Michael Jackson.

(2.) Neil Young's "This Note's For You", tears apart Michael Jackson, Eric Clapton, Whitney Houston, and artsy perfume TV commercials of the 80's.

(3.) Shania Twain's video for "Man! I Feel Like A Woman!" (from 1999) does a parody of Robert Palmer's "Addicted To Love", but with a sexual reversal.

(4.) One music video --- I don't remember the singer or band --- that parodizes the following:
Cyndi Lauper's "Girls Just Want To Have Fun"
Robert Palmer's "Addicted To Love"
The Cars' "Magic"
...but all the parts are played by young kids! I don't remember the title of the song, but it goes something like "...my little (or younger) brother". It came out in the late 80's, but I just don't remember the name. Dang! Anyone knows what I'm talking about?

(5.) ...and then there's Weird Al Yankovic, but that's pretty obvious! [Smile]
