I love all movies that Quentin Tarantino has either directed or written. I love the way he tells his stories in a non-chronological manner, his dialogue is always very natural and so real to life. His characters are usually really memorable and rich. But another aspect of his I have always enjoyed is his musical selections. In most movies the songs are usually thrown in there but with Tarantino his songs seem to have a life of their own and seem to be a part of the story and almost like they're a seperate character. I know there's a few Tarantino fans around here and was wondering how they feel about his choices in music.

He has great instincts on the soundtrack music choices, very much like Martin Scorsese.
I am planning to buy the soundtrack to the "Kill Bill" movies.

Great director and writer. Great movies. Even a good actor. And yeah, great movie music. Specially in Pulp Fiction. A wonderful soundtrack.
The only one I thought was a little... out of place, though I like the song, was Bjørn Skifs' "Hooked on a feeling" in Reservoir Dogs. You know... Ooga chaka, ooga ooga ooga chaka...
