I’ve been trying to improve my CV to apply for higher-level engineering positions, but I’m not sure if I’m structuring it correctly. It’s hard to balance technical details with making it readable for recruiters. Do you think it’s worth using professional services to build a stronger engineering resume, or is it better to just use templates and adjust them myself?

I had the same issue when I was moving from a junior to a mid-level role. What made a difference was using engineering resume services , since they understand how to translate technical skills into recruiter-friendly language. For example, they helped me reframe project experience into measurable achievements and highlight certifications like PMP and AutoCAD. This made my CV much more appealing to both HR and technical managers. It’s definitely better than just tweaking generic templates, because engineering roles require a very specific presentation of skills.
