I had a set of DICOM images from a lab and needed to convert them for use in a simple slideshow. Most standard programs didn’t recognize the format. That’s when I started looking into how to properly convert dicom to jpeg without losing quality or having to do it one by one. I came across a batch conversion tool that was way faster than anything online. It let me load all the .dcm files at once, pick JPG as the output format, and just hit convert. Worked perfectly, and I could finally use the images in regular software. Definitely recommend this route if you’re not in a hospital setting but need readable image formats.
