I always thought Donna Summer did that disco song "Come To Me" (Cuz I looove you, and I neeed you,and I waaaant you....come to meeeee) ends up its done by France jOLIE. who was France Jolie???

I think she was a French-Canadian singer [yeah, the original Celine Dion, perish the thought]...one of those one hit wonders of the disco variety. For sure I danced to that song back in the day, but it was kind of lame.

wow...I cant believe someone answered this post!! I have Donna Summers Greatest Hits and my sister has her anthology set and that song isnt on either so I did a downl;oad search and FRANCE JOLIE came up. I guess its not too surprising that she was a One Hit Wonder...look at Alicia Bridges(I Love The Night Life) and Musique(In The Bush)and Funkytown(Lipps Inc.)....alot of classic disco songs were done by One Hit Wonders. Im having a 70s party in June and had a hard time finding that song. thanks for helping.

France Joli (not Jolie) had that one major hit "Come To Me" song, but she made several records after that hit; they were more popular in Canada than in the U.S.
Unlike most one-hit wonders, she still tours and records music today.
ohmyGod! she's still kickin it??? I looked and found she had a single called PARTY LIGHTS...so i gueses COME TO ME wasnt her only single. Thanks for the link.
