I think the original Spiderman movie was done in the 70's. Could someone confirm that? Or was it done in the 80's. Better yet, where can I find a copy preferrably on DVD? Thanks.

I'm assuming you mean the TV movie etc. with Nicholas Hammond. It's the 70's - look here.. No legit' DVD available.

The episodes of The Amazing Spiderman, were like movies. My favorite of course, is The Deadly Dust, because Joanna Cameron plays a newspaper reporter in it.
