Just watched Split Decisions. It was an entertaining boxing movie.
Starring Graig Sheffer, Gene Hackman, Jeff Fahey and Jennifer Beals. All the actors give a good performance and i donīt understand the complaining on the IMDb.
Sheffer was on a hot streak in the beginning of his career: That Was Then...This Is Now (1985) Fire With Fire (1986) Some Kind of Wonderful (1987) (ahem ) Voyage of the Rock Aliens (1987) and then Split Decisions.
Good stuff!

I just finished watching this atomik,had not seen it since its first release back on a UK guild home video back in 88/89.
Really enjoyed it,i couldn't recollect it being this entertaining.
I'd say this is a pretty underatted little movie actually.
Put it this way I'm now looking at picking up a copy (it was a rental) for myself.
I like the likes of this,streets of gold etc.
Great little boxing drama.

I just looked on Imdb,your right there are some pretty harsh reviews on there.
A film like this You get the usual it's no rocky,or it's no raging bull quotes,what were they expecting,honestly some people.
At the end of the day I was very entertained for an hour and a half so to me that's all that matters.
I agree atomik,it's good stuff!
