I watched this movie one night at 2 am that I couldnt sleep and I loved it,even though is kind of old,well,its 4 years older than me I think, and I wish they could remake it although I don't know how many remakes are better than the originals well this post is just to ask about movies that have left you longing for more or that sort of summarizes a feeling or you (love,rage,etc)whatevere that means just to check out some films

Somewhere In Time is a fantastic movie. Great after a hard days work. It was originally written by Richard Matheson called Bid Time Return. He actually played a cameo role in the film, something of a rarity for him.
The movie that always leaves me wanting more is The Quiet Earth. Great plot, but it kind of ends on a cliff hanger - did the Grid collapse in time, or did the Effect destroy the world? Though I'm not convinced a remake would be successful for either movie.
Why is it they always remake the good movies and never the rubbish ones? Will they ever learn?
