A friend was trying to tell me an 80's movie that he loved, but he couldn't remember the name. He said it was a drag racing film set before the 80's. The leading guy is killed in a race and his lover girl ends up marrying the other guy that he was racing when he dies. The rest of the movie is about him coming back - not so much as a ghost, but more like in spirit or something. Can anyone help me find this movie???

BTW, this movie is one of my 80's guilty pleasure movies, and I LOVED it as a kid. None of my friends know what I'm talking about when I mention this movie to them!

Hmmm, come to think of it, Valley might be right about The Heavenly Kid...when I read the initial post, enough of the description seemed to match The Wraith, but now that I think about it, the description matches The Heavenly Kid better.
