Im almost 100% positive it was in the 80s and I was young when I saw it, I can't remember too much
All I can really remember is this little troll like monster that hid in a wall in a little boys room and I think it was in the closet and under his bed, I remember a drum (think he was in it. He wore a little hat with bells on it..
Can't really remember much else..

After searching google forever, I tried one more time after making this post and I found it.. It was a little girl not a boy..
name of the movie is "Cat's Eye"
